We're continuing to make every day count here at BellaPelle as we stick to our 2011 commitment of giving back to the community. In July, I had the great pleasure of volunteering with Spark to share my career experience with young woman at Oasis for Girls. Oasis For Girls cultivates generations of strong and creative women who realize their potential, live healthy lives and make a positive impact in their communities in an effort to support their mission: providing a safe space where girls and young women are inspired and empowered to become strong and creative leaders in their communities.

For 25 years, Farm Sanctuary has relied on the Walk for Farm Animals to support its life-saving mission to protect farm animals from cruelty, inspire change in the way society views and treats farm animals, and promote compassion. Congratulations to BellaPelle skin specialist Jill who has been accepted to nursing school! We wish her the best in her new career direction, and we’re still thrilled that she’ll be here at BellaPelle for her clients on Sundays.

We're also very excited to welcome Lara, our newest member of the BellaPelle team. Lara started on a career in the beauty industry in 1999 as a makeup artist in Los Angeles. Realizing her love for being creative and making people look and feel beautiful, she chose to become a licensed esthetician. Her career specialities include finding the right products and treatments for each individual and waxing, especially eyebrows. She loves to get her hands on someone who has never had their brows shaped before or who is recovering from a bad experience elsewhere!
