BellaPelle Skin Studio will be hosting a Mórag Currin Method Oncology
Esthetics™ Training course May 8 through 10 and cancer patients and survivors are invited to receive skin care services by participating and Bay Area estheticians.
Blood cancer patients have special needs when it comes to treating the damage done to their skin by the medical treatments needed to fight the disease. Currin pioneered the development of a certification program for skin care specialists to learn to work with cancer patients and survivors.
The 3-day training is for skin care professionals who want to learn
specialized techniques in Oncology Esthetics. An oncology RN and
licensed esthetician instructor trained in the Mórag Currin Method of
Oncology Esthetics™ will educate the estheticians, but they'll need to complete the training program by providing skin care services for a client. Cancer patients and survivors are invited to volunteer to receive safe skin care treatments that can help them feel more comfortable in their own skin.
Learn more and find out how to volunteer.
If you're an esthetician interested in taking the course, you can learn more at the BellaPelle website.
